corporate lingo
For more than twenty years, I’ve worked across nearly every stage of commercial image production. My career has taken me from product design and trade show development to managing high-volume portrait studios, and eventually building my own creative business serving brands, publications, musicians, businesses, and individuals.
Today I work as a commercial photographer, senior photo retoucher, digital imaging specialist, and creative director, helping clients bring ideas to life from concept through final delivery.
Commercial Photography
I create photography for brands, advertising, editorial, healthcare, lifestyle, hospitality, fashion, products, musicians, artists, and creative businesses. Whether the assignment calls for clean commercial imagery or something more cinematic and conceptual, my goal is always the same: create photographs that connect with people and feel authentic.
My experience includes:
Commercial advertising • Editorial photography • Brand campaigns • Corporate and small business branding • Lifestyle photography • Healthcare and clinical photography • Portraits • Fashion • Product photography • Events and live music • Conceptual and fine art photography
Photo Retouching & Digital Imaging
Advanced post-production has been a major part of my career, from preparing advertising campaigns to refining editorial imagery and commercial assets for print and digital use.
Services include:
• High-end beauty retouching • Product retouching • Color correction and grading • Advanced compositing • Object removal • Image restoration • Creative photo manipulation • File preparation for print and web • Digital asset management • Quality control and image consistency
Creative Direction
I help develop visual direction by collaborating on concepts, styling, locations, props, mood, lighting, composition, and overall storytelling. My background in design allows me to think beyond a single image and create work that supports a larger brand or campaign.
Branding & Visual Identity
Over the years I’ve helped businesses and entrepreneurs develop visual identities through photography, creative strategy, logo design, website design, marketing materials, and cohesive brand imagery.
Production Experience
Because I’ve spent years running my own photography business, I understand what happens behind the scenes as much as what happens behind the camera.
My experience includes:
• Project planning • Client communication • Budget management • Scheduling • Location scouting • Set design • Wardrobe and styling
• Vendor coordination • Production logistics • Creative problem solving • Final image delivery
Design & Product Development
Before focusing full-time on photography, I worked in product development and design, creating concept renderings, technical illustrations, illuminated retail displays, product photography, and trade show materials for national exhibitions in New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas.
That experience taught me to think visually while also understanding manufacturing, marketing, and presentation.
Leadership
As Studio Manager and Photographer, I led a team of photographers while overseeing studio operations, production workflow, customer experience, employee training, scheduling, inventory, budgeting, and equipment management.
The experience sharpened both my technical skills and my ability to lead creative teams under fast-paced production environments.

How I Work
Every project is different.
Some clients come to me with a detailed creative brief. Others only have an idea they can’t quite put into words. Both are welcome.
My job is to listen, solve visual problems, and create imagery that feels intentional, polished, and memorable. Whether I’m photographing a national campaign, retouching hundreds of images, or helping a small business shape its visual identity, I approach every project with the same level of care and attention to detail.
